The GTM is hands down the best value in the exotic car world, period. Effectively the mid-engined Corvette GM has yet to produce, this is a stellar example utilizing an LS3 engine mated to the Porsche turbo 5 spd transaxle. This car runs and drives flawlessly and is surprisingly easy to drive with little effort and is very intuitive. A very well built and engineered car, this Factory Five GTM does not squeak, rattle, or twist which can’t be said for most of the front engined cars from GM. The exhaust is the perfect balance of volume and a smooth V8 note. No worry of bringing the wrong kind of attention and you can still have a conversation in the car. With the ease of drivability mixed with actually being comfortable even for a tall man, this exotic car is not only daily drivable, its maintenance is essentially the same as a Corvette. At this price point, you simply can not, I repeat, can not have this experience for close to this price. Nice GT40 replicas are nearly double the money second hand and if you want a mid-engined Lamborghini, forget it. This is an exceptional value for a professionally built and well sorted mid-engined super car that is intuitive and a pleasure to drive either fast or a touch less conspicuously.
